The overview

Some projects are more than just pages and paragraphs. They represent years of dedication, research, and a vision waiting to come to life.

Udaan — Dreams Come True was one such project. After spending more than ten years writing the book, the team at Kazla Enterprises needed a design partner who could do justice to the work behind it. They had previously worked with a designer for almost a year without achieving the quality they expected.

That’s when they approached Editsta Creations.

Our goal was to transform their extensive written content into a professionally designed, cohesive, and print-ready book that reflected the importance of their work.

The challenge

A decade of work deserved better than an unfinished design.

With over ten years invested in writing the book, expectations were understandably high. The client had already experienced a lengthy design process that failed to deliver the desired outcome.

The challenge was to move beyond simply arranging text on pages. The book needed a considered editorial layout, consistent typography, clear visual hierarchy, and a polished presentation suitable for professional printing.

Most importantly, the final design had to respect the client's original vision while making the content work as a complete, professionally produced publication.

Our approach

Bringing the vision to life, one page at a time.

At Editsta Creations, we approached the project with a focus on clarity, consistency, and attention to detail.

  1. Understanding the Vision

Before getting into the design, we focused on understanding the client's expectations, the purpose of the book, and the standard of quality they wanted to achieve.

  2. Editorial Design & Layout

We worked on presenting the extensive content through a structured, readable, and consistent book layout, ensuring that the design supported the content rather than distracting from it.

  3. Typography & Visual Consistency

We focused on typographic hierarchy, page composition, spacing, and consistency throughout the publication to create a cohesive reading experience.

  4. Preparing for Print

The final design was developed with the requirements of a professionally printed book in mind, helping take the project from manuscript to finished publication.

The result

From a decade-long vision to 10,000 printed copies.

The completed book exceeded the client's expectations and moved the project from a prolonged, frustrating design experience to a successful print outcome.

The client subsequently printed 10,000 copies of the book, marking a significant milestone for a project that had been more than ten years in the making.

For us, this project represented what thoughtful design can accomplish: not just making a book look professional, but helping a client's long-standing vision reach its finished form.

The takeaway

A project that has taken years to create deserves a design process that respects every bit of that effort.

At Editsta Creations, we believe good design is about understanding the story behind the work, translating that vision into a considered visual experience, and delivering a result the client can confidently take into the world.
